  1. Great shots Aidy. I really like the one looking directly across the lough at the mountains you’re about to tackle. This sounds like a fantastic route, I’d like to go back some day and do it from this side. The hike is a wee bit dull from the Atlantic side, especially at first. And many thanks for the kind plug 🙂 I’m enjoying David’s work and insights too.

    • Cheers Martin. Some spectacular scenery down there. The good point about that side is the views over to Ben Creggan etc and across Doo Lough, and then the ridge walk over Ben Lugmore – that’s a brilliant stretch. Its amazing the amount of climbing David gets done here while living in France!

  2. That looks like a wonderful area Aidy, not one I know. The photos are great – colour, light and details. It looks like a well chosen route.

    • Cheers Alastair. Its one of the best walks I’ve done definitely for scenery. It was nice to get the four provincial tops completed with this one too.
