Fiery skies this morning as I left Castlederg heading for “The Fearn” (Fearn Hill) on the way to work. The best of the colour didn’t last very long, so I tried to take full advantage by stopping several times to capture it. Hard to concentrate on getting to work on mornings like this.
(I did make it in on time eventually)
Amazing shots, Aidy. It’s not too often you get light like that. Looks well with the frost too.
Cheers Proinsias – I thought I was going to be late for work at one stage, but luckily maybe, the light only lasted for 20 minutes or so and I made it!
Stunning shots and colours, Aidy. Think the sheep one is my fave. Glad you made it on time anyway.
Too many sunrises like that and I’d end up sacked Martin.
Magical, Adrian. A great start to the day. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks Jessica. You’re right, it did put a spring in my step to get off to a start like that.
Oh my gosh, these shots literally made me gasp! Those colors are unreal
Thank you Kat! It was a brief but intense blaze of colour.
so lucky to have caught it!
Beautiful shots, Andy. Love the tones.
Thanks John. The changeable weather has its plus points.
breathtaking colour! Beautiful images Aidy!
It made for a more interesting drive to work that morning Cybele – thanks.
Wow! The sheep and the sky! Glorious
Thank you Cecilia – its always great to get light and colour like that.
