I had been thwarted by the weather in my first attempt at walking the Coomloughra Horseshoe in Kerry, so later in the year I took the long drive down to have another go. It was late when I set off, and night had long fallen by the time I reached Adare in Co. Limerick. It was quiet on the roads by that time so I was able to stop the car and rest my camera on a wall for this shot of Desmond Castle before continuing on my way.
Lovely night shot and reflection, Aidy. Adare’s a lovely town.
Cheers Martin. Great spot isn’t it? I’ve taken a lot of shots of the cottages a few different times too.
she’s a beauty. Adare is lovely.
Very picturesque village Cybele. I’ve stopped during the day there for photos of the thatched cottages, but I was on a mission on this trip!
