The beacon at Castle Archdale.
Castle Archdale park on the shore of Lower Lough Erne in Co Fermanagh, is about half an hour or forty five minutes from home, so when it looked like a nice sunset was a possibility, I took a chance that it would be worth the drive. It doesn’t always work out, but on this occasion I got lucky with some nice light. It doesn’t take much walking from the car park to find good locations, with a marina, a beacon, and a shoreline path all close by.
The light was changing rapidly so I took another shot of the beacon in the shifting colours.
Longer exposures as the light faded.
Even after the sun sank below the horizon, I thought it was worth staying around a little longer as there was still plenty of reflected colour, changing with every quarter turn in direction.
A final shot, and I went home happy.
Stunning pictures capturing wonderful light effects.
Cheers Jessica. Not a bad place to spend an evening.
