Looking along Silver Strand in Dugort, to Slievemore Mountain. We were staying close to the foot of the mountain, and it seemed to dominate the view from almost everywhere on the island. I went to this spot, only a minute or two from our accommodation, noticing the good weather, on a morning when I happened to be up while everyone else was still asleep.
It is lovely to have a quiet moment and the whole place to yourself.
Always a better chance of quiet and solitude in the mornings 🙂
ah, familiar griund
One of the best Irish mountains John – slipped off a few days later to walk it.
