Tullaghan High Cross

This high stone cross is found in the small village of Tullaghan, on Co Leitrim’s short stretch of coastline.  The cross dates from the 9th or 10th century, although it seems to have been relocated to the village in the 18th century.  It is over 3 meters high and was worth a stop at the roadside to see it during the summer as we passed through as we headed off on our summer holiday further south.
