Looking along Tra na Rossan beach towards Crocknasleigh hill.

 

I had packed a lot in to a single day’s tour round a small area of Donegal, and I wasn’t finished yet.  My next stop was on Tra na Rossan beach near the northern end of the Rosguill Peninsula.  Walking in from the car park on the boardwalk through the marram grass, I was tempted by the sight of Crocknasleigh hill, but I knew there would be an extensive walk to be had there over and beyond the hill to the end of the peninsula, so I would save that for another day.

It was time to leave the beach, and start driving in a homeward direction, but there were still a few shots to be had before this day was over.
