Remains of the old wooden pier at Fahan.
After leaving Inch Island, the location of my last few posts, I took the short drive along the shore of Lough Swilly to Fahan for a few shots of the remains of the wooden pier.
Its a great structure for photographers, and while I was there, I also took a look at the harbour.
The grass verge beside the harbour provided some unexpected bonus interest.
Donegal has so much to see, that there are countless great locations in any small area, so I wasn’t finished yet, and next I was off to the Inch Wildfowl Reserve, close to, but not on Inch Island.
