Sunset on the River Derg as it passes through Castlederg, Co. Tyrone.
Looking out my window this evening, it looked like there might be a good sunset in the making, so I grabbed the camera and tripod and headed for the river down beside the bridge in Castlederg. I was hoping to get a good sky with reflections in the river. The sunset definitely played its part.
I took a wander over to the castle ruins too, to see how they looked with the sunset as a backdrop.
5 minutes after the last shot, I was back in the house!
Gorgeous images Aidy, my poor little Nikon is not well at the moment so I am really missing all the early winter lighting. Cracking shots 🙂
Cheers Ed. Didn’t have to go far for this one. Hope you get the camera sorted soon.
A glorious sunset, Aidy. Beautiful colours.
Thanks Jessica, who can resist photographing a sunset?
Lovely Images Andy 🙂 🙂 , getting darker earlier now but the sunsets in this great weather 🙂 🙂
Lovely Images 🙂 🙂
Thanks Nigel. One good thing about the shorter days – easier to get the sunrises and sunsets.
