A quick post which will be of interest only to hill baggers amongst the hill walking community, as Rehagy Hill is one of the small hills listed on Mountainviews.ie. I only visited it because it is on my local 100 list, and I happened to be passing, but I was distinctly unimpressed. Despite its name, it is definitely not a mountain. The summit is literally only metres from the road, offers no challenge in terms of walking, and the views were not great either, at least in the weather I had. I include it only for information for hill walkers not for any aesthetic value! Maybe in better light and weather, the hill might reveal its charms. The photo above offered probably one of the more promising views.
This rock seemed like it might mark the summit, and certainly wasn’t far off.
