I love being up in the hills in snowy conditions, and a late January morning found me setting out in search of some of the nearby, smaller Sperrin hills, still accessible by passable roads. The above scene caught my eye on the way. The hill is Bessy Bell, an outlier of the Sperrins in west Tyrone, and I’ve posted on it before. I’ve posted photos from this viewpoint before too – I love the shapes of the drumlins below the hill in this area. Even better with a covering of snow.
