Portmore Harbour.
I have recently been posting about a drive we took around the northern end of the Inishowen Peninsula in Co. Donegal. My last post in the series was from the summit of Soldiers Hill with its magnificent views of north Donegal. Leaving the hill, we made for Malin Head, but just before reaching it, we stopped at the picturesque harbour and pier at Portmore, Slievebawn. There was plenty to interest the photographer, with a working harbour and a little fleet of fishing boats, stony beaches, and views of the rugged coastline.
Its been many years since I visited Donegal and then it was in the winter of ’95 when the whole place was frozen over. You make me want to visit again. Thanks.
Thanks Clare, Donegal always worth a visit.
Very nice set Aidy, you captured a great sense of this place 🙂 🙂 🙂
Thanks Nigel. I’d say you and Donegal would get on well together:)
