We had a brief stop at the little hamlet, harbour and beach at Meenlaragh on a drive round the north coast of Co. Donegal. Took a handful of images while having a look round.
On the pier, with the Derryveagh Mountains in the background.
A wide view of the beach and pier.
Inishbofin, Inishdooey and on the horizon, Tory Island.
Another view towards the islands, with stormy weather moving in.
Female and young eider ducks.
Eider duckling.
Ready to dive.
I like the way the sun bounces off the sandy beach and the white-washed building in the third image. The sun must have limbo-ed in underneath all those dark clouds,
That’s a great way to describe it Jessica.
