Rathmullan Beach

Photos from a recent trip to Rathmullan, found on the shore of Lough Swilly, at the bottom of the Fanad Peninsula in County Donegal.  This set was taken on a walk along the beach.

It wasn’t all picturesque – there were many signs of death washed up on the beach.

Nice beach for a walk, and there are other interesting features where the town meets the shore including some public art, and a fishing pier, which will follow in another post.

  1. Looks like another lovely place to visit. You have captured some great shots. I particularly (perhaps predictably) like the lichen and rocks images – beautiful textures and patterns.
