I got out and about a lot over the Easter break, either up in the mountains, or round the coast, and am only just catching up on the backlog of photos. Here are a few from Lisfannon beach in Inishowen, Co. Donegal, between Fahan and Buncrana. Must be the currents, but the beach is brilliant for finding pebbles and shells, some kinds I’ve never seen on any other local beaches. There is one shot taken on a previous visit of a colourful sea urchin shell which I’ll include, that I’ve never found before or since. I didn’t have much time there on this occasion, and would like to return again to spend a bit of time arranging the pebbles and shells into groups, which this time, I only did with the shots of the white quartz pebbles. The other photos were taken pretty much as found, with the addtion of the older sea urchn photo and three others from the same day back in 2007.
