On many days, my route to and from work takes me through the town of New Buildings on the east bank of the River Foyle. There are a few lay-bys on the roadside just outside the town, right on the riverside, and often, if the light is good, I can’t resist stopping for a few minutes. One morning last week I took advantage of the early light to take a few shots across the Foyle.
Preparing this post, I realised that I have stopped here many times, and over the years I’ve amassed quite a few shots of the Foyle at this and nearby spots. So, here are a few older shots taken at various times of the day and year.
Hard to make it in to work on time some mornings!
Amazing pictures. Such a beautiful location whatever the season or weather.
It does sometimes make going to work more tolerable Jessica.
Connecting with Nature can sometimes bring the balance we need in busy lives.
